1) If the blue lines in the virtual terms and at shutdown bother you, then use the nvidia-glx package instead of nvidia-glx-new.
2) To have the laptop wake up from suspend, then edit the file (or create) “/etc/pm/config.d/modules” and add a line saying:
SUSPEND_MODULES=”ehci_hcd”
3) If you run into the problem with window decoration disappearing, then open up /etc/X11/xorg.conf and add to the “Screen” section the line:
Option “AddARGBGLXVisuals” “true”
