Tricks for getting Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) to...
1) If the blue lines in the virtual terms and at shutdown bother you, then use the nvidia-glx package instead of nvidia-glx-new.
2) To have the laptop wake up from suspend, then edit the file (or create) “/etc/pm/config.d/modules” and add a line saying:
SUSPEND_MODULES=”ehci_hcd”
3) If you run into the problem with window decoration disappearing, then open up...

I find it absolutely incredible that for a relatively small amount of money DARPA managed to push robotics technology forward so significantly in such a small amount of time. Isn’t interesting that the actual companies that provide robotics to the DoD failed miserably? Granted CMU is no stranger to Defence contracts, but still the companies at the supposed forefront of the industry failed...
